Earth Friendly
What does it mean to be "green"?
Being "green" is a lifestyle choice. It means choosing to "live lightly" on the earth as often as possible, making choices that have the smallest impact on the planet and its inhabitants. Each person's unique situation affects how green they can be, with factors as diverse as socio-economic situation and geographic location impacting their capabilities. But if we all do the very best we can every day, our combined choices will make a difference.
Green living is also a moving target. As new information and technology arrives, we must continually update what we consider "green" and weigh the options available. Ironically, "being green" is usually not a black and white decision and frequently we are faced with a "lesser of two evils" situation where we simply have to use our best judgment with the information we have at that moment
